$2.3M – Passenger disabled in single-car accident

June 27, 2005 – Plaintiff was a passenger in a single-car crash on the interstate. Plaintiff was a domestic housekeeper being transported from winter to summer home of insured in insured’s vehicle by transporter – agent. Because of status, no claim for future wage loss was made. Plaintiff is permanently disabled. Defense expert testified only one future hip replacement required. Plaintiff’s experts testified life care plan would require multiple future hip replacements on left hip with probably left hip fusion eventually necessary.
