The defendant driver ran a stop sign and struck the plaintiff’s vehicle at an intersection. Plaintiff admitted he was driving 10 mph over the speed limit, and contributory negligence was at issue. The plaintiff suffered from an annular tear, which the defense claimed was not related to the accident. Both parties had retained experts to sup-port their claims. Defense argued that the plaintiff was able to return to work, but plaintiff presented evidence that he was disabled from gainful employment.
